Nashoba Brooks Employee
Nashoba Brooks employees all share a passion for guiding young people as they grow. We know that in order for our students to become kind, confident, and academically successful, we must recognize, adapt to, and celebrate each individual’s unique character and learning style.
In hiring, we seek innovative and spirited candidates who can join our work in supporting our School’s mission. We are a mission-driven and student-centered team, a learning community inside the classroom and out. We gladly immerse ourselves in as many facets of school life as we can—from coaching athletics to touring prospective families to helping cultivate our garden. We work best collaboratively and are eager to consult our peers in order to spark our own imaginations. Modeling our mission, we are driven by continuous learning through regular professional development opportunities, including on-campus seminars, national conferences, and research-focused mini-sabbaticals. If you are interested in joining our team, we look forward to hearing from you!
Professional Development
As a learning community, we are enthusiastic about faculty professional development. We believe that a school where adults are encouraged to grow professionally and pursue their interests will be a place where students also grow and learn with enthusiasm. Similarly, a school where adults work together and learn from one another also becomes a more collaborative and exciting place for students.
To support professional growth, Nashoba Brooks School offers employees a wide range of professional development opportunities, both in-house and outside of school. In-house professional work takes many forms, but is focused primarily on bringing teachers together to consider issues of pedagogy and/or curriculum. Outside professional development opportunities include participation in local, regional, and national conferences, as well as visits to nearby schools and mini-sabbaticals to pursue a particular passion over the summer.
