Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated After School Teacher to join our team at The Learning Academy of St. Mark's. The hours are 3:15 pm to 5:30 pm. This is an hourly position following a public school calendar. In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the educational experiences of our students, ensuring they receive high-quality instruction and support in their early developmental stages.
Responsibilities
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a safe and productive learning space.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Incorporate play-based learning strategies to promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Experience in childcare or early childhood education is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
