After School Youth Program Membership Outreach & Registrar (021)

The After School Youth Program Membership Outreach & Registrar (021) will be responsible for sourcing potential candidates for club membership and inputting information into our database from paper documents, be computer savvy, and a fast typist with a keen eye for detail. Understanding of data confidentiality principles is required. We are offering an exciting opportunity for an After School Youth Program Membership Outreach & Registrar (021) at our Elbaum Family Clubhouse (021) located in Brooklyn, NY.

• Identify and establish contact with potential parents and members through community outreach (via canvassing local area schools, residences, etc).
• Determine eligibility of new members into NYC funded contract program.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing parents and members.
• Collect, review club membership applications, and evaluate credentials for general membership and eligibility for NYC funded contract programs.
• Type in data provided directly from Club Member applications into database systems.
• Other duties as required.

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred but not required.
• Experience as a data entry clerk.
• Typing skills (55+ wpm) and excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
• Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices.
• Great attention to detail.
