Position Summary:
We are seeking a Production Assistant Manager to lead, train, and actively support our outdoor production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing field crews in labor-intensive industries such as agriculture, construction, landscaping, or similar environments. In this role, you will be directly responsible for supervising and motivating a diverse team to ensure production goals are met while maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise outside daily production teams, focusing on quality and operational standards.
- Responsible for overseeing multiple crews working in various areas of the nursery.
- Monitor employee performance and provide hands-on guidance to optimize productivity.
- Make real-time adjustments to roles and tasks to meet quality and efficiency benchmarks.
- Collaborate with management to implement the best practices and improve operational processes.
- Train and mentor staff on production techniques, quality assurance, and safety protocols.
- Analyze production data and report on progress toward goals.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications and Key Skills:
· 1-2 years of supervising experience.
· Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of motivating and guiding diverse teams.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Analytical skills to evaluate performance date and make informed decisions.
· Adaptability to shift priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
· Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
· Valid Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is helpful
· Bilingual preferred
