The Commercial and Investment Bank Chief Analytics Office is responsible for accelerating the Analytics agenda globally across Markets Trading, Sales & Research, Payments, Securities Services, and Global Banking—promoting the integration of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence into business strategies to deliver measurable commercial impact.
The responsibilities of the Chief Analytics Office include advancing both traditional artificial intelligence/machine learning and generative artificial intelligence capabilities, identifying priorities and focusing on high-impact artificial intelligence use cases, setting the Generative AI strategy around Large Language Models and Agentic AI, reusing and scaling AI solutions across lines of business, fostering a culture of innovation and an AI-first mindset among employees.
As an AI Accelerator Lead – Vice President within the Chief Analytics Office of the Commercial and Investment Bank, you will be tasked with accelerating the most impactful and high-priority AI programs across the CIB, which require frontier AI transformation. This team embeds into the business for the duration of each special program and works in close partnership with subject matter experts, as well as the Analytics and Technology teams in the business. This ensures the solutions are delivered end-to-end, while ensuring responsible use of AI in compliance with internal policies, laws, and regulations, with regular progress updates being shared with senior leadership / C-Suite management. As part of its mandate, the AI Accelerator team will devote time to remain up-to-date with cutting-edge research in AI.
Job responsibilities
- Managing a diverse and talented team, balancing technical excellence with tangible commercial impact.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to learn about the business and identify innovative AI solutions.
- Conduct thorough analysis of quantitative and qualitative data available to produce clear, actionable insights and recommendations for the business
- Collaborate with in business Analytics and Technology teams for the end-to-end delivery of the AI solutions
- Assimilate information and communicate complex analyses and recommendations effectively to senior executive stakeholders across the organization
- Remain up-to-date with latest progress and breakthrough in the AI community
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Curiosity, humility and willingness to learn about the CIB businesses working side-by-side with business experts
- Passion for problem solving and innovative (out of the box) thinking
- Ability to learn complex business problem statements and re-formulate in simple terms, and to distill complex data into actionable insights
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Deep expertise in both traditional AI/ML and generative AI
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience or understanding of Financial Services
- Experience in a highly quantitative role, ideally as a data scientist at a growth or research organization
- Deep expertise in statistical analysis, experimental design, and causal inference
- Proficiency in Python, orchestration frameworks, SQL and other analytical tools
