Start Your Career in Airport Hospitality -- Get Trained and Get Hired
Puckett's is looking for outgoing, friendly individuals to join our front-of-house team as Hosts/Hostesses at BNA Airport -- with paid training included through the Airport Hospitality Academy.
If you've always wanted to work in an airport, we'll help you get started. All new hires will go through Airport Customer Service 101 and Airport Readiness Training as part of their onboarding. You'll receive a certificate of completion and gain the knowledge and credentials needed to thrive in an airport setting.
What You'll Do as a Host/Hostess:
- Greet guests with a warm Nashville welcome and genuine hospitality
- Manage seating, waitlists, and help keep the flow of the restaurant smooth
- Chat with travelers, answer questions, and offer great service
- Help keep menus, host stand, and entry area clean and organized
- Support the team with light clearing and table resets during busy shifts.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and provide them with an overview of the dining experience.
- Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient table turnover.
- Handle reservations and walk-in guests with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Utilize POS systems for managing reservations and guest information.
- Address guest concerns promptly and effectively to enhance their experience.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Experience in hospitality or food service is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Clover POS, is a plus.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A helpful attitude towards assisting guests and resolving issues as they arise.
Requirements:
- Must be 18+ and elegible to work in the U.S.
- Must pass TSA background check and obtain airport badge
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
- Strong people skills and a positive attitude
