We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Alterations Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality alterations and tailoring services to our customers, ensuring that each garment fits perfectly and meets their expectations. Duties
- Perform alterations on a variety of garments, including dresses, suits, and casual wear, ensuring precision and quality in every stitch.
- Utilize sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to execute alterations as per customer specifications.
- Assess garments for necessary adjustments and communicate effectively with customers regarding their needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, offering style advice, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the alteration process.
- Collaborate with team members to manage workload efficiently and meet customer deadlines.
Experience
- Proven experience in garment construction and alterations is required.
- Proficiency in operating sewing machines and using various sewing tools.
- Strong background in customer service within the fashion retail industry is preferred.
- Basic math skills are necessary for measuring and calculating adjustments accurately.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for fashion will contribute to success in this role.
