Job Responsibility:
- Prepare vacant apartments as well as houses for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements.
- Service basic electrical and plumbing needs of a property. This may include working on garbage disposals, ceiling fans, replacing toilets and light fixtures. Also, basic knowledge of repairing appliances (refrigerators, stove, dishwasher, etc)
- Perform all make-ready duties including but not limited to: painting, flooring, punch-out & sheetrock repair and trash-outs.
- Cleaning and maintenance of property grounds, including common areas.
- Provide residents with outstanding customer service.
- Assists with interior/exterior rehabilitation and construction projects.
- Works with the office team and Maintenance Supervisor (i.e., walking apartments, move-in/move-out reports, etc.). Completes work as directed and reports apartments that are ready to show to the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work well with a team
- At least 6 months of multi-family experience
- Willing to submit to a background check
- The ability to safely lift 60 pounds
- Punctual and Dependable, adheres to regular schedule
- General maintenance and safety experience strongly preferred
- General knowledge/experience with all major types of heating and air conditioning preferred
- Required to provide own (industry specific) hand tools
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize work functions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
