The Signature Apartments and Townhomes are currently seeking to hire a Dynamic- Full-Time Maintenance Supervisor in Silverdale, WA.

6 Star Management is a privately owned management company specializing in first-class property management! The company is looking for a motivated, relationship-driven and hardworking individual. We hope that they are excited to join a maintenance team dedicated to ensuring the property's value over time. Therefore, we are looking to hire someone who is able to communicate with tenants, making sure that the work is acceptable and meets the tenant's expectations.

Summary: The Company's ideal Maintenance Supervisor is expected to perform repairs, unit- turns, and preventitave maintenance at the property. Additionally, the ideal Maintenance Supervisor must maintain good relationships with residents; maintain and enhance the value of the community, and contribute to the economic success of the property.

Essential Job Duties:

Supervise all maintenance and repairs of the property. Complete all service requests efficiently and courteously.

Respond to resident requests and work orders in a timely manner.

The Company utilizes an internet-based software called "Appfolio," where the Property Manager communicates with their maintenance employees and delivers work orders.

Appfolio is accessible anywhere there is internet. It is also commonly accessible through the Appfolio application (app) on a smart phone device.

Employees will utilize"Appfolio" to report the details of work completed with pictures to the Maintenace Supervisor and Property Managers. Supervisors are tasked with making sure all work order and maintenance projects are completed thoroughly and in a timely manner.

Performing on-call emergency service as required

Employees are responsible for documenting time sheets, daily maintenance logs, and other checklists as assigned.

Supervise the maintenance team in preventative maintenance tasks to eliminate untimely and costly breakdowns in equipment, appliances etc. Functions may include, but are not limited to: light bulb changes, filter changes, lock repairs, install/repair window coverings, HVAC repairs, caulking, painting, pool maintenance, testing pool chemical levels where applicable, inspecting roofs and the common areas regularly and know vinyl repair and installation. The hired Personnel may handle these alone as skills progress.

Report any maintenance concerns for repairs on vacant, models, clubhouse and common areas to Property Manager.

Lead maintenance team on special projects (preventative maintenance, research on equipment, pricing etc). and meeting budget requirements for tools, equipment and repair items.

Works with Grounds, Utility and third party vendors. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the grounds and common areas are free from trash and debris.

Responsible for the proper use of maintenance materials, equipment and motorized vehicles.

Consistently maintains a professional, courteous attitude when dealing with residents, coworkers and the general public, on and off the property in order to positively promote the property and the management company.
