Job Summary:
Do you thrive on solving problems and working in the field? As an Appliance Technician, you'll provide on-site mechanical repairs to washer, dryers, vending kiosks, and communication modems within your assigned region. You'll also perform daily inspections and preventive maintenance of the machines. By keeping our customers' machines running smoothly, you'll meet their expectations and address any ongoing service needs. The ideal candidate for this role enjoys working independently and has exceptional mechanical skills.
Company supplies uniforms and take-home vehicle. Paid holidays and 1-week vacation annually. Candidate must have proper hand tools and electronic testers for electrical components. Valid driver’s license required.
Duties:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair washers and dryers, ensuring all work is completed efficiently.
- Perform regular maintenance and preventive services on machines.
- Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner, addressing their concerns and providing accurate information regarding the repair or maintenance process.
- Prioritize safety when working with electrical systems and appliances by strictly following all protocols and guidelines. Ensure your own personal safety as well as the safety of the customer's property during service calls.
- Thoroughly document all service calls, including repairs performed, parts used, and any other details. Prepare service reports and update the internal database with precise, current information.
