Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues effectively.
- Utilize your mechanical knowledge to perform repairs and maintenance on appliances in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
- Operate a box truck for the transportation of tools and equipment to job sites as needed.
- Assemble appliances as required during installation or repair processes.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician is essential.
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems and is preferred.
- Previous field service experience is a plus, particularly in customer-facing roles.
- Strong electrical experience is advantageous for troubleshooting complex issues.
- Delivery driver experience is beneficial for transporting equipment safely.
