Job Summary:
Ace Prevention Private Security is hiring experienced, reliable Security Guards to provide safety and crowd management at high-volume restaurants, bars, and nightlife venues throughout New Orleans. You will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, supporting venue staff, and ensuring all guests enjoy a safe and respectful atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a strong, professional presence at entry points and throughout the venue.
- Screen patrons for valid ID, enforce age restrictions, and uphold dress code and conduct policies.
- Monitor guest behavior and intervene in conflicts or suspicious activity to prevent escalation.
- Enforce occupancy limits and manage guest flow for crowd control.
- Conduct routine walkthroughs of interior and exterior areas including restrooms and parking lots.
- Respond calmly and efficiently to emergencies or incidents; coordinate with local law enforcement or EMS when needed.
- Complete incident and activity reports with clear, concise documentation.
- Support venue staff during closing hours to ensure safe guest departure and secure property.
Qualifications:
- Valid Louisiana Security Guard License or ability to obtain.
- Minimum 2 years of security experience in hospitality, nightlife, or event environments.
- Excellent verbal communication, situational awareness, and conflict resolution skills.
- Physically fit and able to stand/walk for extended shifts, manage high-pressure situations.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
- Must be available for night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
