Hiring:
We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable Security Officers / Guards / Agents to roster with us as (1099) Independent Contractors.
It is requested to have an existing and current: State Certified Armed Guard License. Employment is dependent upon passing a background investigation and drug screening.
Role Description:
This Armed Contract Security work will be located at one site (a Facility / Lot) and involve the day-to-day tasks of observing, reporting, conducting surveillance, walking patrols, providing excellent customer service, ensuring property and personnel security, and completing detailed incident reports if necessary.
The coverage needed is often weekends: (24/7) Friday night through Monday morning.
Likely 8 to 12 hours shifts.
It is non-uniformed, but typically involving a more overt (5/11 pant) look.
Preferred Skills:
- 3+ Years of Armed Security and/or related field work
- CPR / First Aid / AED Certification
- Knowledge of Use of Force and De-escalation Techniques
- An Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Security, or related field
Required Qualifications:
Physical, Personnel, and Surveillance Security proficiency
Strong observation, customer service, communication, interpersonal, and de-escalation skills
Aptitude to handle challenging situations with professionalism
Able to pass background and reference checks, along with drug screening(s)
