Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage delivery schedules effectively.
Duties
- Utilize GPS technology to navigate routes efficiently and avoid delays.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
- Manage conflicts that may arise during transport or at delivery sites in a professional manner.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
- Assist in training new drivers on best practices for safe driving and delivery protocols.
Experience
- Preferred Law Enforcement or Military Police experience
- Previous experience as a driver or in a similar transport role is preferred.
- Familiarity with basic math skills for calculating distances, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
- Ability to operate GPS systems effectively for route planning and navigation.
