SUMMARY
Seeking an Art Director to follow Tamarack brand standards across all Tamarack assets in conjunction with marketing team and agencies. Responsibilities include planning, concepting, developing, and executing physical collateral and digital assets. In addition, this position will bring brand consistency across departments including but not limited to: food & beverage, resort rentals, property management, base operations, mountain operations, real estate, and the club. Areas of emphasis include but are not limited to: signage, collateral, digital advertising, and print advertising. Areas of assisting marketing team include but are not limited to: events, social media, website, and email. This role will report directly to the Director of Marketing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Owns design projects from start to completion by coordination with marketing team, internal departments or outside agencies in timely manner to meet deadlines.
- Proactively problem-solve creative solutions through critical thinking, consumer-first perspective, and alignment to strategic marketing plan and brand standards
- Strong creative and visual skills, with the ability to create engaging assets and content.
- Ensure Tamarack photography and video assets are current and meet brand standards. Work with departments and marketing team to identify photo and video needs. Work with outside vendors, as needed, to accomplish these duties.
- Assist with uploading, editing, and correctly tagging photos to our DAM (Brandfolder) while maintaining organization.
- Team player willing to and able to assist with events and other departments during busy times
- Work with internal departments on project-based creative needs
- Supports cross-functional departments to achieve financial success and growth
- Knowledge of KPI’s and industry benchmarks
- Knowledge of Real Estate Advertising Laws
- Design experience required. Strong knowledge of graphic design and photo/video editing tools (Adobe Creative Suite)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and juggle many projects at once.
- Team player willing to and able to assist with events and other departments during busy times.
- Weekend and holidays may be required
- Intermediate skiing or snowboarding ability
