Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with educational standards and encourage student creativity.
- Teach various art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media.
- Utilize learning technology to enhance the educational experience and engage students.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain an organized classroom environment, ensuring all materials are available and in good condition.
Skills
- Strong ability to educate and inspire students in artistic practices.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Proficient in behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom environment.
- Familiarity with learning technology tools that support art education.
- Ability to calculate dimensions and proportions for various art projects.
- Skills in copy editing for creating instructional materials or student handouts.
- Experience working with diverse student populations and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
