Job Summary: The Assembler is responsible for the assembly of components and products according to detailed instructions and specifications. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work efficiently to meet production goals.
Responsibilities:
1. Assembly and Production:
o Assemble machined parts and vendor-supplied parts according to blueprints, schematics, work orders, and prescribed methods.
o Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively.
o Identify and report any issues with assembly processes or products.
o Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and improvements.
2. Quality Control:
o Inspect components and finished products for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
o Implement corrective actions when quality issues are identified to maintain product standards.
3. Safety and Maintenance:
o Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
o Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
o Participate in safety training sessions and drills to stay updated on safety practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in assembly or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is a plus. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic math skills and the ability to use measuring tools.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 35 pounds.
