Position Overview
The Production Associate is responsible for assembling outdoor shading products, including motorized patio shades and awnings, in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled warehouse environment. This role involves using power tools, reading job orders, and accurately measuring components to ensure quality and precision. The position requires the ability to lift 75+ lbs. repeatedly, work effectively in a team, and follow safety guidelines. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and physical stamina are essential for success in this role.
What you'll do
- Read job orders and assemble outdoor shading products according to specifications
- Use power tools and measuring tools to complete tasks accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
- Follow safety guidelines and company procedures
- All other duties as assigned.
Who you are
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
- Ability to lift 75lbs repeatedly through 8-to-10-hour shift
- Proficiency in reading a tape measure accurately, down to 1/16 inch, to ensure proper dimensions in assembly.
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Ability to read and understand basic English
- Reliable transportation
- Proficiency in using power tools and measuring tools to assemble products accurately
