General Purpose
The primary function of this position is to support BCA’s annual fundraising goals and increase revenue from corporate supporters through event sponsorships, program underwriting, and in-kind partnerships, managing deliverables, donor cultivation and stewardship efforts The position is responsible for the corporate donor fundraising category of the annual fund, including prospecting, solicitations, stewardship and donor relations as well as database management and CRM analytics for annual giving to help inform strategy. This position helps to plan and execute annual fundraising events. This position reports to the Director of Philanthropy and works closely with Executive, Development, and Communication teams.

Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for BCA’s corporate sponsorship including identifying, developing and stewarding relationships with the goal of procuring corporate support
- Ensures accurate data entry into CRM platform and reporting of corporate portfolios.
- Collaborates on development messaging strategy for the department with development and communications team.
- Identifies and analyzes relevant sponsorship deliverable data for informing broader communications and development strategies, and to increase sponsor retention and aid recruitment of new sponsors.
- Works with communication and events teams to ensure that all event/program collateral accurately reflects sponsor goals and deliverables.
- Along with the BCA events team, provides on-site sponsor relations at events, festivals, gallery openings, and meetings to ensure that sponsorship goals and deliverables are met.
- Maintain and manage annual donor records including pledges, campaigns, invoicing and appeals in the donor database; participate in regular trainings; run relevant analysis to best inform development strategy and attain goals
- Builds and stewards relationships that support BCA development efforts through community outreach with individuals, outside organizations, non-profits, businesses, and event sponsors.
- Builds prospect lists and creates and manages corporate pipeline
- Works with communications and events teams to ensure that all event/program collateral accurately reflects sponsor goals and deliverables.
- Collaborates with Communication team to develop decks for corporate sponsorship requests and reporting including program description, program impact and benefits of sponsorship that align with BCA’s strategic goals
- Assists and sometimes lead development team with special fundraising events
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements

- Ability to understand and comply with City standards, safety rules and personnel policies.
- Bachelor’s degree and at least three (3) years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, sales, working in CRM platforms/databases and customer service
- Practical experience can be substituted for a degree on a two for one-year basis.
- Demonstrated achievement of performance goals through high level of motivation, organization, creativity, and teamwork.
- Highly developed organizational skills required to manage multiple relationships at varying stages of development, as well as multiple deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral required. Knowledge of principles and practices of nonprofit fundraising required.
- Ability to communicate enthusiasm for BCA’s mission, and able to inspire generosity and confidence in businesses and organizations to support that mission.
- Ability to serve as an ambassador for BCA in the community, with partners, and at business events.
- Ability to use web-based platforms, including Zoom, Bloomerang and Microsoft platforms employed by BCA for various tasks and communication purposes.
- Ability to follow internal processes and guidelines.
- Ability to work independently and set own tasks.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with City staff and the general public.
- Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends and holidays.
