DESCRIPTION:
Work assignments are received from the District Attorney and work involves responsibility for research, preparation of cases and trial of criminal cases. Duties require the exercise of independent legal judgment but matters of policy are taken to a superior for decision. Work is subject to review by the District Attorney through discussion. Does related work as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATONS: Graduation from a recognized law school and four (4) years of experience in the practice of law with emphasis on the practice of criminal law.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: Possession of a license to practice law in the State of New York.
