Duties
- Assist the General Manager in managing daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Supervise staff, including hiring, training, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain high culinary standards.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the restaurant.
- Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Implement marketing strategies to promote restaurant services and increase patronage.
- Coordinate banquet services for special events as required.
- Maintain a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team.
- Experience in interviewing candidates and conducting training sessions.
- Knowledge of culinary practices and food safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
