Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to help oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and custodial services, ensuring that our facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Assist in Managing and supervising the housekeeping team, providing training and support to ensure high-quality service.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for all areas of the facility.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate housekeeping needs and special requests.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
- Address guest complaints and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations in all cleaning practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of custodial practices, industrial cleaning techniques, and floor care maintenance.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in training and motivating staff.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
