Bricks & Minifigs, a locally owned franchise, is opening soon in Lee’s Summit! We’re a unique toy store that buys, sells, and trades all things LEGO®. Whether customers are looking for new-in-box sets or want to dig through our bulk tables in search of hidden gems, there’s something for everyone at BAM.
In addition to our wide selection of LEGO products, we offer a fun and flexible party room perfect for birthdays and private events. Our store is built around fun, creativity, and excitement—and it all starts with our team.
We’re looking for energetic individuals who have the following traits:
- Retail experience in a fast-pace environment
- Positive attitude and adaptability
- Dependable during scheduled shifts
- Attention to detail
Assistant Manager Tasks:
- Manage shift schedules and ensure efficient shift management practices
- Utilize POS systems for transactions, cash handling, and sales reporting
- Open/close store and lock up
- Host birthday parties and private events in store as needed
- Answer company phone and warmly communicate with customers
- Help build displays out of LEGO
- Purchase inventory and conduct trades
- Clean store every shift (including inventory, shop floor, and restrooms)
- Supervise and train retail associates and work closely with manager
- Patiently work with kids of all ages and specifically include those with learning differences
- Be a role model and ambassador of LEGO and Bricks and Minifigs
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
