We are seeking a dedicated, energetic, and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our team. This leadership role is vital to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our members and staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on facility cleanliness, employee training, and communication while embodying a positive, professional attitude at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facility Cleanliness (Primary Focus):
- Ensure the gym is consistently clean, organized, and sanitary throughout all areas ( equipment, floors, bathrooms, etc.).
- Team Training & Supervision:
- Train and coach team members on proper cleaning procedures, customer service, and company policies.
- Provide hands-on support, leading by example in all operational areas.
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Maintain open and professional communication with the General Manager regarding staffing, maintenance, and operational needs.
- Relay staff concerns, member feedback, and operational issues promptly and constructively.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Customer Experience & Professionalism:
- Create a welcoming and friendly environment for all members and guests.
- Maintain a polished and professional demeanor while interacting with staff and customers.
- Quickly and effectively resolve member issues with positivity and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role, preferably in fitness, hospitality, or service industries.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for cleanliness and detail.
- Ability to lead, train, and motivate staff with a hands-on, team-first attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
