We are seeking an Assistant Prekindergarten Teacher to join our team of excellent staff. The Responsibilities for the position include: Implementing lesson plans for all curricular areas (Circle Time, Math, Phonics/Sight Word Practice, Writing, Guided Reading, Art, Social Studies, Science) and weekly themes, student assessments, general indoor/outdoor supervision, following a set schedule, maintaining creative bulletin boards with current student work, on-going parent communication, and staff development.
Hours for this position will be 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The ideal candidate will have excellent classroom management skills and experience assisting and teaching in an academic-based Prekindergarten program.
Must have a minimum of 12 ECE core units in Early Childhood Education. 24+ units in Early Childhood Education strongly desired.
Must be a team player, flexible, punctual, and reliable. Excellent, regular attendance is a must.
