Position Summary:
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our team! The ideal candidate will enjoy working with young children, be a team player, and support lead teachers in creating an engaging classroom experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting the lead teacher with daily classroom activities and routines
- Supporting children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs
- Helping to maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment
- Supervising children to ensure safety at all times
- Building positive relationships with children, families, and staff
- Assisting with lesson preparation, activities, and small group learning
- Modeling kindness, patience, and respect
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience working with young children in a childcare or preschool setting preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, flexible, and caring personality
- Ability to meet state childcare licensing requirements -fingerprints, background check.

The shift is 9am-6pm with a one hour lunch.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
