Job Summary
The Assistant Property Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the overall management of residential properties. This position involves assisting with the daily operations, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to residents and potential tenants. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of property management practices, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
Duties
- Assist in managing property operations, including leasing and tenant relations.
- Maintain knowledge of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations.
- Utilize AppFolio property management software for data entry and record-keeping.
- Handle administrative tasks including filing, phone etiquette, and customer relationship management.
- Support conflict management and resolution between tenants and management.
- Conduct property maintenance inspections and coordinate repairs through CMMS.
- Facilitate the leasing process by upselling available units to prospective tenants.
- Prepare and manage contracts related to leasing agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions and property performance metrics.
- Collaborate with facilities management to ensure a high standard of property upkeep.
Qualifications
- Experience in property management or real estate administration is preferred.
- Familiarity with Mobile Home Parks is a plus.
- Knowledge of Mobile home parks and sales is preferred.
- Strong sales skills with a focus on upselling properties to potential tenants.
- Excellent negotiation skills for handling lease agreements and tenant disputes.
- Proficient in office software applications for data entry and administrative tasks.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build positive relationships with tenants.
- Previous experience in legal administration or understanding of contracts is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in property management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
