Job Summary:
Axiland Rhinestone Depot is looking for a motivated and dependable Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Los Angeles. This role is hands-on and customer-focused, with responsibilities that include assisting customers, overseeing inventory, managing staff, and supporting daily store operations. Ideal candidates must be bilingual in English and Spanish, experienced in retail, and comfortable with physical tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Assist and upsell to customers to maximize store sales
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory at all times
- Provide daily store reports to the main manager
- Support hiring, scheduling, and managing store employees
- Work as a cashier and ensure smooth front-end operations
- Lift and move items up to 60 lbs as needed
- Use a pallet jack when necessary
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and customer-ready
- Maintain a professional attitude and clear communication with customers and staff
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English and Spanish (required)
- Previous experience in retail management and cashiering
- Experience hiring and managing employees
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Comfortable lifting up to 60 lbs
- Experience operating a pallet jack (preferred)
- Punctual, professional, and dependable
- Must be available to work Monday to Saturday, 9 AM – 5 PM without exceptions
