We are looking to hire an experienced Bilingual Assistant Teacher to help us keep growing.

Responsibilities for Assistant Teacher
- Meet with teachers to understand lesson plans and agendas
- Adhere to all lesson plans while interacting with students
- Document and report all incidents to senior staff immediately
- Assist head teacher with work overflow
- Maintain child/staff ratio ensuring that children are always supervised and notifying the on-site supervisor of changes when they occur.
- Assist in mealtime, including serving and teaching good personal eating habits.
- Assist children changing diapers
- Ensure a safe environment for all children, including intervening in conflicts between children.
- Maintain the classroom clean and organized
- Maintain daily records (meal sheets, sign in/out sheets, etc.)
Qualifications for Assistant Teacher
- Assistant Teachers shall be at least 18 years of age
- Have at least six months of supervised experience
- Be willing to obtain a CDA certificate within the first year of employment
- Have or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
- Be fluent in Spanish (native Spanish speaker preferred)
- Basic English communication skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
