Join Insight Northwest Recovery (INR) as our Associate Clinical Director, where you’ll play a key role in shaping and strengthening services for individuals facing mental health and co-occurring substance use challenges.
About Us
INR is an intensive outpatient mental health treatment program offering a full continuum of care for individuals ages 12 and older, including PHP, IOP, outpatient therapy, psychiatry, peer support, and case management. We are committed to trauma-informed, evidence-based care and are the only provider in Oregon exclusively serving co-occurring youth and young adult populations.
Position Summary
The Associate Clinical Director supports the clinical and operational leadership of INR’s programs. This role provides direct supervision to clinical staff, ensures high-quality and compliant service delivery, and promotes a culture of excellence, equity, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision and leadership to therapists, care managers, and peer support staff.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based, and trauma-informed care.
- Support program expansion and operational effectiveness in alignment with strategic goals.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Medicaid, licensing, and accreditation standards.
- Guide the integration of EHR and clinical documentation processes.
- Promote a client-centered, inclusive, and culturally responsive environment.
- Lead program evaluation efforts to improve clinical outcomes.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluation of clinical staff.
- Collaborate with external partners to coordinate client care and referrals.
- Uphold ethical and professional standards across all clinical services.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or doctoral degree in a behavioral health discipline.
- Active Oregon LCSW license in good standing (required for supervision and documentation such as FMLA).
- Meets Oregon BLSW qualifications to supervise CSWAs, including:
- Minimum two years of licensed clinical practice.
- Completion of at least 15 hours of supervision-specific CE within the last 5 years (and continued CE as required).
- Successful completion of the Oregon Rules and Laws Exam within the past five years.
- No personal or ethical conflicts of interest with potential supervisees.
- Maintain Active or Semi-Retired license status through ongoing CE and license renewal.
- Minimum 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience, including supervision responsibilities.
- Experience in behavioral health or integrated care settings.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA, Medicaid services, and Oregon-specific regulations.
- Familiarity with DBT, harm reduction, and trauma-informed models.
Preferred

Experience:
- Human services or counseling: 3 years (Required)
- Clinical supervision: 4 years (Preferred)
- Teen/young adult counseling or program management: 3 years (Preferred)
License: Active Oregon license (LCSW required)
