The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Coordinate clinical staff schedules and respond to immediate site matters,

Work closely with Director regarding site related activities and communicates with clinical supervisors regarding staff development, provides direct patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree preferred,
  • Supervisory experience,
  • Clinical experience greater then 5 years, Pediatrics preferred,
  • Professional membership of discipline required,
  • If within the discipline of Occupational Therapy Maintain Registration by the NBCOT,
  • Registered by the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board,
  • Maintenance of registration required,
  • American Heart Association, AHA, BLS Provider Certification required,
  • Current license in clinical area of PT, ST, OT, or PSY,

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Shift working, 9:00 5:00 each day
  • Days to work
  • FT

Essential Functions:

  • Respond to immediate building issues and notify facilities or Director as appropriate,
  • Respond to immediate customer service issues and communicate with Director,
  • Adheres to clinical budget and assists in coordinating supply order for clinical departments,
  • Oversee and monitor clinical schedules, PTO, call outs, etc for the site and work with scheduling department to fill schedules,
  • Work with Director to fill open positions,
  • Communicates organizational information verbally and non verbally to staff,
  • ex, educate staff on changes in processes, run staff meetings in absence of Director, run daily Huddles,
  • Work with community to foster relationship with site,
  • Clinical supervision may be expected for staff of same discipline on site,
  • Direct supervision of support personnel may be required,
  • Selects, administers, and interprets assessment tools as designated in competency expectations including History, Screening, Observations, and Evaluations as appropriated to patients,
  • Identifies and prioritizes time realistic functional goals for remediation, compensation, adaptation or prevention of deficits,
  • Selects, utilizes and evaluates the effectiveness of appropriate treatment methods as designated in competency expectations,
  • Communicates effectively with patients, families, and team in oral and written formats in both formal and nonformal situations,
  • As designated in competency expectations, assists in training others,
  • Takes responsibility for seeking supervision or consultation in relationship to clinical performance,
  • Actively contributes to improvement plans effectively utilizes feedback,
  • Meets competency expectations in explaining symptoms, prognosis and functional limitations for a variety of diagnostic groups,
  • Makes discharge recommendations appropriate to the child and their family in consideration of childs prognosis, role expectations, and knowledge of community resources, as designated in competency expectations,
  • Models and ensures that staff embrace and integrate a family centered approach to treatment whereby the plan of care is developed in partnership with the families and reviewed on a regular basis,
