We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Middle Office to join our Middle Office - S4 team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA and follows a hybrid work arrangement with 4 days in office.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Serve as a lead for the day-to-day operations of a Middle Office support team, providing work direction and technical assistance on complex matters.
- Lead the daily activities of a Middle Office support team servicing multiple funds, including reviewing data and assisting in resolving escalated problems during accounting and reporting cycles.
- Supervise the tracking of fund data and trades, maintain records, and establish data maintenance and summarization processes to improve team efficiency.
- Search for fail points in processes, provide error reports to clients in compliance with service level agreements, review error reports from junior team members, and escalate external errors as necessary.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- High school/secondary school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required; Bachelor’s degree a plus.
- 3-5 years of total work experience preferred.
- Experience in accounting support or the mutual fund industry preferred.
- Mutual fund industry background preferred.
- Experience supervising a team and providing technical guidance on complex matters.
