About the Role:
seeking a Privacy and Technology Attorney with 4–7 years of experience. You'll advise clients on privacy, data governance, AI, and data security matters. Our clients range from startups to Fortune 100 companies. This is a remote role in a fast-paced but collegial environment, offering a reasonable billable hour requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on privacy, data governance, and compliance.
- Draft and negotiate privacy, AI, and data security policies and agreements.
- Develop legal strategies tailored to client needs.
- Manage client relationships and contribute to business development.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctorate and be admitted to the bar in their home jurisdiction.
- 4–7 years of experience in privacy/data security law.
- Strong understanding of current laws impacting privacy, AI, and data governance.
- Excellent issue-spotting, drafting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
- Must reside in Chicago, Los Angeles
- CIPP and/or AIGP certifications preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $175,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
