Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and vehicle maintenance, with the ability to assemble, weld, and replace parts as needed. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using power tools to ensure high-quality repairs and restorations of vehicles. The Auto Body Technician will work closely with other technicians and staff to deliver exceptional service and maintain our reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs on damaged vehicles, including bodywork and frame straightening.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as necessary for repairs.
- Weld metal parts together to restore structural integrity.
- Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively during the repair process.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Complete tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
Experience
- 5+years (required) proven experience as an Auto Body Technician.
- I-car certifications a plus but not required
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and vehicle maintenance.
- Proficiency in using various power tools and welding equipment is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Commission based position. Hourly position also available. Pay will be determined based on experience.
