Help Wanted: Automotive Chevrolet Warranty Administrator
Location: Celebration Chevrolet – 2001 S Havana St, Aurora, CO 80014
Celebration Chevrolet is looking for a qualified individual who loves to solve problems and has a keen attention to detail to join our team as a Warranty Administrator.
As the Warranty Administrator, you will document and process warranty claims and collaborate with all departments within the dealership before, during, and after repair events to ensure compliance with General Motors and dealership standards and policies.
Job Responsibilities
What you’ll do
The Warranty Administrator is to:
- Process all warranty claims and submit to General Motors for warranty reimbursement.
- Process dealer-partner Extended Warranty Claims for claims payment.
- Process Fleet repair invoices for payment.
- Ensure that Warranty Repair Orders are properly booked per manufacturer and dealership standards.
- Perform accounting schedule reconciliation and maintain the health and wellness of relevant accounting schedules.
- Communicate with the Service, Collision, Parts, and Sales teams to ensure timely and audit-proof (adhering to General Motors compliance) claims payment.
- Communicate with the Service Advisors and Technicians during the repair period to ensure warranty coverage of labor, parts, and sublet charges.
- Maintain accurate electronic and physical file management for Repair Orders and related documentation for submission-ready, submitted, rejected, and paid warranty claims.
- Communicates with the Service Manager about the status of all related job responsibilities.
Job Qualification Requirements
What we’re looking for
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Advanced education is preferred.
- Basic reading skills, basic math skills, critical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and logical thinking are required.
- Advanced reading skills, advanced math skills, advanced thinking skills, and accounting skills are preferred.
- Basic competency with computers, keyboard typing, software usage, spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets), and paper and electronic file management is required.
- Previous administration experience is required.
- Previous automotive franchise dealership experience is preferred.
- Previous General Motors dealership experience is preferred.
- This position is available only as an on-site/in-office full-time (with overtime potential) position.
