Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Electrical Repair Technician (Diesel-GAS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with hands-on experience in heavy equipment operation. This role involves diagnosing and repairing various diesel engines, ensuring all equipment is safe and operational for use.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment.
- Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and fabrication tasks.
- Align and dig components as necessary to ensure proper functionality.
- Operate cranes and other heavy machinery safely during repair processes.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with Electrical and Electronic systems
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, including Caterpillar engines.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to fabricate parts as needed for repairs.
- Experience with heavy equipment operation is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A valid driver's license is required.
