Salary: $51,000 - $139,000 annually

The Ideal CandidateToyota of Tacoma is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle systems and may have a specialization in specific areas. This position is key to delivering high-quality repairs, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high service standards.We are looking for someone who can handle repairs efficiently and accurately the first time, and who thrives in a collaborative environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Repairs and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance tasks as outlined on repair orders, adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Diagnostic Expertise: Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues in various vehicle systems.
- Vehicle System Repairs: Diagnose, maintain, and repair major automotive systems, including:
- Engine
- Transmission
- Steering and Suspension
- Brakes
- Electrical Systems
- Air Conditioning
- Communication with Service Advisors: Provide clear, accurate information to Service Advisors regarding repairs and timelines.
- Warranty Repairs: Perform repairs according to manufacturer specifications for warranty services.
- Quality Checks: Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure all repairs meet high standards and are completed efficiently.

Requirements
- 1 year of automotive experience.
- ASE certifications are ideal.
- Strong automotive background
- Strong teamwork skills
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written.
- Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.
- Must have a clean & valid driver's license.
