Automotive Lube Service Technician – Horne CDJR Safford

Horne Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Safford, AZ is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Lube Technician to join our growing Service Department. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Perform oil and filter changes
- Inspect and top off fluids: transmission, brake, power steering, coolant, washer, etc.
- Check and adjust tire pressures
- Inspect belts, hoses, lights, wipers, batteries, and other key components
- Use vacuums, steamers, and other shop tools to support vehicle prep
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Clearly communicate findings to the Service Advisor team
- Follow all OEM and dealership safety standards
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 1 year of automotive maintenance or lube tech experience
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to lift 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods
- Basic understanding of vehicle systems and shop safety practices
- CDJR or OEM certifications are a plus (but not required)
- High school diploma or GED required; tech school or trade program is a bonus
