Parts Driver
Location: Cable Dahmer Chevrolet of Kansas City
Pay Rate: $18-$20/hour
Full-Time or Part-Time
Job Summary:
The Automotive Parts Driver is responsible for delivering automotive parts and accessories to customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner. This role also supports the parts department by helping with shipping/receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory when not on deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently deliver parts to wholesale customers and internal departments.
- Verify accuracy of parts orders before delivery.
- Load and unload vehicle with parts and ensure they are secured properly.
- Obtain customer signatures and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain delivery logs and mileage records.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and ensure vehicle is clean and well-maintained.
- Assist with stocking, organizing, and maintaining parts inventory.
- Help receive and process incoming shipments as needed.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous delivery or driving experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Friendly, reliable, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts is helpful, but not required.
