We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services. You will utilize your expertise in vehicle maintenance and automotive service to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all client needs are met efficiently and effectively. Your ability to communicate clearly and manage service requests will be crucial in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services required for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Schedule service appointments and manage the workflow to ensure timely completion of services.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including service history and recommendations.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions with accuracy.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure clear communication regarding service requirements and customer expectations.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Stay updated on automotive technology, industry trends, and best practices in customer service.
Skills
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and automotive service processes.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with clients.
- Proficient in cash handling and financial transactions.
- Mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate technical information to customers.
- Experience in automotive sales is a plus, enhancing the ability to recommend services effectively.
- Familiarity with air brake systems is advantageous for specific vehicle types.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear transmission of information.
