In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for customers, providing expert advice and guidance on automotive services and products. Your primary focus will be to enhance customer satisfaction through effective communication, upselling services, and ensuring that each client receives the best possible automotive solutions tailored to their needs.
Duties
- Engage with customers to understand their automotive needs and provide tailored recommendations.
- Promote and upsell additional services such as oil changes, alignments, and auto body repairs.
- Process cash handling transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with mechanics and service technicians to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain an organized workspace and keep accurate records of customer interactions and service recommendations.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, trends, and dealership offerings to provide informed advice.
- Assist in managing the service department operations to ensure high-quality customer service.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales or customer service within the automotive industry is preferred.
- Strong upselling skills with a focus on enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of basic automotive services including oil changes, alignments, and auto body repair is essential.
- Familiarity with automotive service management practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A background in mechanics or experience working at a dealership is highly desirable.
