Automotive Service / Sales Manager

Job Overview:
As a Service/Sales Manager with Christian Brothers Automotive, you are the person our guests look to when they need help with their vehicle. You are the person that our guests see every time they make an investment in their vehicle. Due to these reasons, you play a significant role in building relationships with our guests. Our Service Managers are responsible for guiding our guests through the entire repair process, keeping them informed about the status of their vehicle, and ensuring their satisfaction before they leave our facility.
The Service/Sales Manager has responsibility for all customer facing daily operation of the business. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, sales activities, front counter staff management, quality of work, guest satisfaction, revenue generation, profit margin, and other goals as assigned by the Owners. All office sales personnel report directly to the Service/Sales Manager.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Implement Christian Brothers Automotive standard operating procedures to achieve store sales and profitability goals
- Manage the front counter staff through positive motivation, leading by example, and showing your support for the shop’s and team members’ success.
- Hold direct reports accountable for duties, business objectives, teamwork, and shop culture.
- Participate in developing local marketing activities
- Hire and train Service Advisor employees
- Manage customer escalations and partner with the Operations Manager and Owners as needed to resolve issues.
- Manage all front counter staff employees through coaching, mentoring, and skill development.
- Develop, document, and implement SOP for third-party warranty processing
- Develop and implement all sales techniques and strategies utilizing CBAC best practices and tools
- Become a team expert to assist with the use of the point of sale system, shop flow application, and other software applications/tools
- Represent the business Owners and CBA Brand in a professional and ethical manner.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of Management experience in the Automotive Industry
- Managing P&L
- Experience in TekMetric software application is preferred, but not required
- Graduation from an industry-recognized service training program is preferred, but not required
- Significant expertise in weekly and monthly KPI reporting
- Solid track record in automotive repair estimating and repair order generation
- High level of proficiency in Windows Office programs with aptitude for developing and documenting revised SOP's
- Must have proven track record of business judgement, integrity and accountability.
- ASE Service Consultant certification is preferred, but not required
- Current driver’s licenses
- Driving record acceptable to our current insurance carrier
Physical Requirements:
- Being on your feet for the majority of the workday (standing, walking, etc.)
- Occasionally lifting and carrying objects over 50 lbs.
- Driving manual transmission vehicles
- Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
- Using a keyboard and mouse proficiently daily
- Using a standard handset phone
- Be at the shop daily for opening and closing procedures
