Summary We are looking for an B2B Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The B2B Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities. This is a face to face position.
Account management responsibilities include developing in person, strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. The Account Manager will maintain existing accounts with on-site visits, including marketing, merchandising of product, sales & invoicing of product. Answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers.
This position requires local travel throughout eastern MA, Southern NH & ME as well as RI & CT. If you are familiar with account management software (CRM), have a flair for client communication and understand consumer behavior, we’d like to meet you. Ideally, candidates for this role will know how to meet ambitious individual and team-wide sales quotas. Ultimately, a successful Account Manager will achieve quotas while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services in the long-run. Candidates should reside in the south shore of Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Merchandise and invoice clients
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies for growth.
- Conduct warm calls to potential clients, presenting our unique product offerings.
- Analyze sales data to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns.
- Utilize Salesforce to track account activities and manage customer interactions.
- Lead initiatives aimed at improving customer engagement and service delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably in a retail or consumer goods environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Demonstrated business development skills with a focus on achieving sales targets.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software is a plus.
- Ability to analyze data effectively to drive strategic decisions.
