Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and caring Babysitter/Nanny to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare, including infant care and preschool settings, and will be responsible for engaging children in age-appropriate activities while ensuring their well-being. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage daily routines effectively while maintaining a clean and organized space.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children in a variety of activities, including playtime, educational games, and outdoor activities.
- Provide attentive infant care, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks according to dietary guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness in the play areas and ensure that toys and equipment are sanitized regularly.
- Assist with homework and educational tasks for older children.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a safe environment at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in babysitting or nannying is preferred, particularly with infants and preschool-aged children.
- Familiarity with daycare settings is a plus.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
- Ability to cook nutritious meals for children is beneficial.
- A passion for working with children and creating a positive learning environment is essential.
