Job Description
The Bank of Monroe is currently seeking an experienced, highly skilled/highly motivated team member to serve as Teller/Customer Service Representative. The position will primarily be in our Union Office, but may be required to work in our other offices dependent upon business needs and travel distance. Our ideal candidate will have significant banking experience, to include teller transactions, new account opening, as well as extensive knowledge on all deposit product offerings, be personable and enjoy building relationships with customers in order to discuss products and services that would best meet customer needs. Our ideal candidate would also be familiar with online and mobile banking platforms to provide assistance to customers from sign on to bill pay, remote deposit capture to troubleshooting tech issues.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
Be a Team Player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Provide quality customer service by processing financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and related checking inquiries, while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Assist customers with bank products and services including online and mobile banking
Open new deposit accounts and provide information regarding product options
Adhere to all bank policies and regulations
Maintain strict confidentiality and highest ethical standards
Verify and maintain accurate cash counts including cash drawers, ATM, and ARCA machines.
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Post High School Education Preferred
PREVIOUS BANKING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
