Job Summary
Hotel in Del Mar is seeking a Barista/ Coffee Shop Attendant that will promote, sell & serve food and beverages in the coffee shop, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
NOTE: This is for AM shifts only
Responsibilities
- Informs customers about the available food & beverage items available in the Coffee shop and provides customers with information about the hotel.
- Maintains a neat and clean environment in the Coffee shop. Cleans equipment, displays, floors, etc. as per SOP for daily cleaning program.
- Straightens/refreshes/restocks merchandise and food displays to maintain a “fresh” look in the Coffee shop.
- Responsible for proper operation of the Coffee shop to include opening on time and ensuring proper closing procedures.
Education and Experience
- Must have at least 6 months of Coffee Shop or Barista experience
- Able to lift, push or pull up to 30 lbs unassisted
- Able to stand or walk for extended period of time, unassisted
Pay is $17.50/hour + tips
