Job Summary:
As a Barista at The Mark Café, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing outstanding service in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, reliable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with people.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve espresso drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and other beverages to standard recipes
- Provide prompt, friendly, and attentive service to all guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café and equipment
- Handle cash and process POS transactions accurately
- Restock and maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist with opening and closing duties as scheduled
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Contribute to a welcoming and professional café environment
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a barista or in a customer service role preferred
- Knowledge of coffee and espresso preparation techniques is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Availability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- A positive attitude and professional appearance
- Must be 18 years or older
