Job Summary
We are seeking a Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Opening the store and starting the day.
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following recipes
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Assist in food preparation as needed
- Handle cash and credit card transactions with precision
- Demonstrate proficiency in retail math for inventory management
- Must be able to work morning shift 7am-12pm
Experience
- Plus experience in the food industry, particularly in coffee preparation
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers
- Familiarity with basic math for measuring ingredients and calculating orders
- Proficiency in time management to ensure efficient service
- Experience with cash handling and maintaining cleanliness in a food service setting
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.30 - $16.00 per hour
