As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a welcoming environment for our guests. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the café’s POS system efficiently to process customer orders and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Engage with customers to provide a friendly experience while taking their orders and answering questions about menu items.
- Follow food handling and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or café environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change.
- Experience with cash handling procedures and familiarity with POS systems.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for coffee culture and willingness to learn about different brewing techniques and beverage preparation.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
