Located in the village of Orchard Park, The Grange Outpost serves seasonally influenced breakfast + lunch Tuesday through Sunday.
We are looking for an individual that is, organized, professional, personable, and motivated.
Strong knowledge of food, coffee, and tea is preferred. Must be comfortable working in a fast paced and team-oriented environment.
As a Barista at The Outpost, you will be responsible for preparing high quality specialty coffee and beverages. Drink development and creativity is encouraged!
Job Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a friendly welcoming manner
- Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders and addressing customer inquiries
- Actively participate in service (ability to provide menu knowledge including ingredients and allergies)
- Operate POS systems and handle cash transactions accurately
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following Grange recipes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations
- Prep Work (cold brew, matcha, syrups, seasonal offerings)
Knowledge & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a café environment
- Extensive knowledge of food, coffee, and tea
- Collaborative work ethic and ability to take feedback
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
